I had 1 or two of those that came off some live rock at one time. Its been almost a year, I havent seen hide or hair of them since. So i figure its okay..but again...i'm a beginner :)

Looks like a Ophiactid brittlestar to me. Beneficial filter feeders. Breed like crazy if given the chance. Recently I dipped a large zoanthid rock, and had to pull out more than 30 of them. This rock was only in the tank for 2 weeks prior. I have literally thousands of these guys.

Forgot to mention, it looks like yours may have just reproduced by fision. They require 3 legs to thrive, so they will grow 6 legs and then split in two. That is why it has 3 large legs and 3 small ones.
