What is this

I just added a purple firefish to my 25 gl reef tank. Today, about 5 days after i added him, i noticed two white tick shaped parisites on the side of him, or what i belive to be parisites. They are about the size of a deer tick(probley only 1-2mm across) and they are whitish clear. Any idea on what they are, and what damage they will cause and any treatment that would be possible.

Sounds like good description of flukes. These respond well with a fresh water dip. Usually 1-5 minutes will do the trick to kill them without undo stress to the fish.
