I am getting my first Scolymia on Tuesday and want to know what would be the best way to acclimate it, from what i understand drip would be the best way but wanted to double check with the forums.

I know it needs low light/flow but how low?

And what kind of food should i feed it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!!

Drip is best, and then low or no light at first while it adjusts. As far as feeding it mysis cubes (defrosted) or Squid cubes(defrosted).

I would temp acclimate it and just drop it right in the tank, never had one die from that, as far as I'm concerned drip acclimating corals is as guaranteed a waste of time as trying to teach my cat not to scratch the couch... put it on the sandbed under low to moderate flow, under moderate flow they'll puff up nice, as far as feedings, it's up to you, but I've hardly ever actaully fed mine, just whatever food it can catch when I'm feeding the tank once or twice a week
