Hi all
Just wanted to see if anyone has advice on a chiller. I have a 75 gal tank with a 30 gal sump I'm looking to fit with a chiller and wanted to know what everyone's preferences are and why. Any recommendations - especially with cost and low noise - would be appreciated. Also let me know what sites have good prices.
Thanks, Steve

I would start with some fans before a chiller, put the fans one at each end of the tank blowing in .Used a water tem control to turn the fans off and on.Ranco control will work well.

Thanks but I already have fans going - I think it's necessary to step up to a chiller.

I use a JBJ 1/3 HP on my 120gal. Very quiet compared to other chillers that I've heard. Cost was comparable to other chillers of that size. I purchased it because it was the most recommended when I posted the same questions about a year ago.

Check out Premium Aquatics (http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=JBJ). They are a sponsor here and have great service. Free shipping.
