Via Aqua and Rio

I must be from another planet or from another dimension!

I have yet to read a decent review about any Via Aqua or Rio product on these forums.

I have 2 via aqua 750's and several rio power heads and a hob filter. All for several years and 0 problems and SUPER SILENT!

I have had several maxijets (which are seen in this forum as creations from god) and all went back to the store the same day or in the garbage out of frustration!
These are the loudest things I have ever heard!

Like I said, I am considering committing myself because I have to be going insane!

I've had my 4900 Via Aqua pump in my tank from the start, almost 3 years. No problems. I have a Mag 12 on hand just in case.

I also have the 480 I use for my auto-top off, and water changes. The only Rio I had didn't last very long.

I had a Rio powerhead ( don't remember which model) for about 5 years with no problems. A good friend had a similar pump for about the same length of time. About 3 weeks after his pump melted down and released some oily compound into his tank, mine did the same thing. He lost a bunch of critters, but all
i lost was a pair of cleaner shrimp. Keep an eye on it.
