I like the Maxi-Jets. A Maxi Jet 1200 may work welll, or you can go with the popular Seios.

I like Hagen, Aquarium Systems Maxi-Jet, and Tunze Stream pumps. I have found all to be reliable. The only problem with the Hagen model you mention, is it is rather large and unattractive.

The Seios are nice but huge. The MJ1200 are good but hot. Try a MJ900 for good flow and only 8 watts of heat. R

ONE TUNZE 6060 and you are done. 1600gph!! No heat and low watts. $137.99 from Marine depot. Get the magnet hanger too. If you can't afford the tunze I would go with Seio's

good luck

A Tunze 6060 will do what you are wanting and would be the best recommendation IMO. I know you would be spending a little more money, but I finally found one for $100 that was used and it is probably one of the best investments for my tank. Your corals will thank you. Even though they are not controllable you can point it so that it bounces off the back or front wall and you will have plenty of flow. Consumes less power also. 11 watts if I'm not mistaken. I run mine on a timer from 9 am till 9 pm.

I have allways used Maxijets. They have proven to be very reliable for me. I also hear lots of people saying lots of good things about seios and tunze too.
