Just installed my new Seio 820 pump and fish can't/won't go near that end of the tank. Will the get used to the extra flow?

Well I'm battling brown substrate. I have been told by everyone that I have to increase my water flow

Well you succeeded on that :) The fish will get used to it and be playing in the flow in no time flat. Mine love riding the current.

I know where you're coming from on both fronts. The more flow is good for the algae, but I just set up a 120g, and installed 2 seio 1100s, and bought 4 chromis, and they stay in the top of the tank all the time out of the flow :(

I sure hope that most of the fish get used to it, but I wish there were some better clarification.

sounds about right.... the first day all the fish got transferred into the new tank, none of them left the rock work because of all the flow.
I went from a very underflowing 29 (2 MJ600s and a 900) to a much better flowing 90 (OR3500 (900GPH) return, a seio 820 and the maxijets. Now they're out in it all the time playing around. They just seem to realize to stay clear of the return outlet.
They'll get used to it... think of it as fish surfing.

They will all be surfing soon! Don't worry about it they will love the flow.
