ccs65 and ozone

i went to plug the ozone generator into the inlet(itlooks like an old 35mm tube) and the microbubbles went down. After this the bubbles were coming out the pump for the skimmer. Is there any way to fix this?

i think that happens when you push too much air in to the pump.

is there a way to control how much air goes into there? Will this hurt the generator?
