Feeding fish

I am confused as to how much I am supposed to feed my fish. I have a Tang, Clownfish and Firefish (as well as inverts). How regularly should I feed them? Some books say 3 times a day, some people say once a week.

i feed mine every other day with a mix of forumula 1 and cyclopeeze. and put nori in the tank everyday for the tang.
