I'm brain cramping right now....am I using the correct name for that ?

I have a 24 inch actinic bulb and I need a fixture for it...? Why does that not sound like the correct word..? Anyway....if someone has one they'll sell/trade/give away....let me know !

i believe "ballast" is what you're looking for.

what kind of bulb? pc/vho/t5? how many watts?

No benny its not the ballast its just a light fixture....black plastic "shroud" that sits on top of your avg. run-o-the-mill tank.

I just need one I can fit a 24" actinic bulb in for the top of my tank.

It's a UV bulb

Nope.....just a simple black light fixture that you get when you buy a tank at your LFS...You buy Tank Top Light and Stand.

i have an oak colored no fl fixture for a 29g i'm not using. not black, though.
