I need some Caulerpa for my refugium that I will be starting over the next week or so. Please PM me if you have any. I need a large bag of it if you can spare some.

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

Please do not put grape in your fuge. You will be very very sorry when it goes sexual. JMO.

Look 1 and 2 posts down for the good stuff that is being given away. Good luck my friend.

Try cheatomorpha: it's tough, it's tolerant, and it doesn't put down roots into your rockwork. Whatever you put into your fuge will likely get some representatives to your tank, and if it's grape, it's bad news for your corals and general look of tank.

I was going to light my Fuge 24/7 and I thought that kept it from going Sexual?

Whats the good stuff?

The person I got my grape calurpa from has had no problems with it going sexual. So I would say go with it and just make sure you keep it from getting in your display. The grape calurpa is so much better at removing nutrients because it grows so fast. I keep my fuge light on 24/7 and have had the grape for a month now not a problem yet.......

Also another tidbit of information. Lighting has nothing to do with it going sexual. Letting it get overgrown does. Just keep it trimmed every couple weeks and you will be fine.

I would run chaeto myself.
If you keep the grape trimmed back, you shouldn't have a problem.
