I got mine from Pets Plus on the Blvd. in Phila.
They get them in every other week. I called for 2 weeks asked for the saltwater dept. and finally got one (they seem to get them in regularly) and they work great, just remember to cover your pumps intakes with sponges or it will get sucked in.

The one's on e-tropicals are not the hair algae eating type. I have 2 of those and they don't touch it. The hair algae eating type are larger than those and look a lot different. Do a search for the name I have listed abouve you will see the difference.

The ones at Pets Plus are the hair algae eating type, believe me my tank was covered in it and now it is gone. I now supplement with dried SeaWeed and he is doing well on that. I believe it was $16.99 at Pets Plus. Good Luck.

Cindy, you still have yours? Very cool.

I have some hair algae in my Mega Overflows up where the light and the shallow water meet and was wondering about getting another.

Yep, this one lasted awhile, the only reason I lost the other one is cause of the suction from the maxi jets, sucked em right in and killed them, I now have them covered with sponges, it slows down the flo though and they need to be cleaned constantly.
