Added 40 pounds of Buna Branch and TOnga Kaelini( no sure spelling forgot it). It was cured but of course had die off and now i have a spike, should i do water changes to keep the coraline algea alive and the things in the rock or will they live thorugh the spike??. if i shoudl do water changes will one a week be enough?and is there some supplements i could had to aid in the growth of coralion and stuff?

I would do some water changes if the ammonia level was over, say, 1 ppm or so, just to reduce the stress, within my energy limits. Once the ammonia hits zero, you can consider starting some light feeding with a phytoplankton product.
