Yesterday I noticed that my skimmer was not working so I checked the pump and it wont come on so I took it apart cleaned the inpeller and it still wont come work It is a rio+ 3100 I think it does around 1200 gph. So I am in deseperate need of a comparable pump I am broke as hell but I do have a little money and some frags I could trade.

Correction the rio 3100 does 900gph. But any pump that does 900 to 1500 gph will work.

I have a Gen-X/Mak4 External Pump 1200gph that I am not using right now. It was used for 3 months and it looks brand new. Replaced it with a Mag12 in the sump.

I have a RIO 3100 sitting in my retired pumps box. It was the main return in my sump but was replaced about a yr ago. Its all yours if you want it. You will need the venturi kit off your old pump though. Send a PM if you want it and we can make arrangements for you to come get it..
