It’s time for me to clean out my fuge (and buy some new corals), so I wanted to try selling off some of the macros I pull out. I will include about 10 species in a quart-sized bag. The bulk of it will be chaeto, feather, and blade caulerpa, but I will include small (1-2”) starter cuttings of a bunch of others. Included are 2 variants of a flowing red algae that resembles a red rubbery Ulva, one is a deep red from Hawaii, the other is a pink from the Sea of Cortez. Both are beautiful, and I’ve seen 2” cuttings of these selling for $25 each. Also included is a maroon kelp-like red, a pink branching variety, sargassum, a green-turf (looks like hair in photo but it is a turf, good for algae scrubbers and doesn't overtake), and others. I also will send some very small (1-2 joints) of 2 really beautiful branching varieties of coraline. Slow growing, but once they are established in your display, they are a beautiful addition to the usually encrusting varieties of coraline. Price is $30 including shipping is via USPS priority mail- insulated with a cool-pack. Here are some pics-

Nice selection. Would you sell the "starters" w/o the feather and blade caluerpa? What type of lighting in your fuge? LMK. Thanks.

Would also like to know if you could sell just the small (1-2”) starter cuttings ?

Sure- maybe $20 for just the starters including shipping? (the shipping costs me about $10 on these).

Could I get a pack w/o cheato and coraline? Where in AZ are you? And what lighting are you using?

No problem can substitute for othe varieties/quantities. I'm down south of you in Tucson. Most are in my fuge, 20 gallons under 19 watts of 5500k pc (home depot special), but I also have all the varieties growing in the display under PC 50/50's. They don't seem too picky.

Hi all! Well, I totally forgot about the 4th being a holiday this week! I didn't want to ship on Mon since they would have been sitting at the PO today, and I'm on a diving trip tomorrow, so for those that contacted me, how is Monday of next week for shipping? Sorry about that! I'll make sure all the portions are extra large!

Hi Sumo,

I'd be interested in a starter pack w/o the chaeto or two caulerpas. If you take paypal, let me know an address and I will send you some money.

:) Kim

I'm starting up my fuge and have a newbie question...is a variety of macro better than just going chaeto for nutrient export? Also, since I'm lighting my fuge off-cycle, I was told to avoid caulerpa. Anything else in this pack that might be harmful?
