just found a planaria on my glass that i can't ID. just curious if anyone knows of a good website with detailed photos of making ID's on them. of course i would take a photo but my camera is not accessable ATM. i would remove it from the aquairum but i have already found 2 more "babies" within minutes of looking.

are they sort of clear with a tiny pinkish-flesh-colored spot on them? (spot can barely be seen). (Amphiscolops sp.???)

if you've got Julian Sprung's Invertebrate Quick reference guide,... page 84

I had these in my tank (actual photo) and was not able to quickly enough find out if these were bad so I nuked them with flatworm exit (not many to deal with and they were only in the refugium under the halide that was over it)

Those are different ones than what Henry has. The clear ones are not considered harmful by any source that I have.
The ones in your photo are considered to be, at the least, irritating to corals. They are (at least partially) photosynthetic. They may not actively seek out to harm corals, but they will lay on corals, which can irritate them. If their numbers are great enough, they can inhibit light from getting to the corals. They multiply rapidly enough to be considered a nuisance.
