Well after using a 29g glass tank for a sump under my 90g for while I am broke down and going to replace it.

I am having Doss from www.acrylicsumps.com make it for me.

Here is the drawing I provided him:

Here is a picture of the fuge so far. This is the fuge side. He has make the overflow for it but not installed yet. It's not trimmed yet nor the bulkheads installed. I think it's looking great.

Ok just wondering. I need one for my 90 gallon. I was thinking of trying to make one.

That is what I was going to do. But I have never worked with Acrylic before and did not really want to mess with it. I do want to learn but this time I just had someone make it for me. Plus this one is not your standard sump/fuge due to my stand.

Ray...u da man. Awesome design. You are more than a little familiar with that cad program.

So you putting the sump on the left, and refugium on the right?

Also, why the hole on the back of the right module? Plumbing consideration?

Well the right is the fuge. The tank has dual overflows so one will feed the sump side and the other will goto the fuge. The fuge will overflow into the little box and some PVC flex pipe will run to the sump. I have it returns at the bubble trap to try and reduce the skimmer getting the pods. I had to make this a 2 module system because of the center support in my stand.

Here is a pic of the fuge all done.

That is very nice. I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy the new sump and fuge.

I know I will. I have Acrylic Creations making me a new 90g tank for this. It's going to have 2 returns from the sump and 2 for a closed loop.

Are you going with 2 drains and 4 returns? I have a used 90 gallon from them that came with 1 drain and 2 returns, so I redrilled the holes for bigger returns and drain. What pumps are you going to use?

It's going to have 2 outlets via the overflow. I am going to run one to the sump and the other to the fuge. I will be using a Mag 9.5 for the sump return with goes though my chiller. The tank have 2 returns just right and left of the center overflow.

Then he is putting a 1" outlet somewhere with 2 return I think in the corners for the closed loop. I am not sure about with pump for the closed loop.

Looks like it should be a nice setup. How long before you get the tank.

The tank will be done Friday I was told. Now I guess I need to sell my tank I have now.
