Im looking for a 20L or 30L to convert to a sump, due the space restrictions its all i can fit into stand, preferably local but will drive reasonable distance to pick up
TIA
Matt

How many of each do you need?

Hmmm I would be interested in a 30L if you have multiple spares. Going to the July meeting?

andy, i could use one of the 20l tanks, too. mine started leaking the night before last and i had to take yesterday afternoon off to clean up a huge mess and remove the sump. :(

what are the measurements on the 30L, I dont have alot of head clearance in my stand so I need to keep it around 12" tall

No problem, I thought $27 @ Meijer  was alot better than $43 @ Petco

i was thinking about waiting until one of the lfs have a dollar per gallon sale to pick one up for $20. but i think i can swing $27. :D

Check out the glass on the ones from Meijer. They seem flimsy to me. Hope it works for you.

The 30L is 13.25" tall and are drilled.

Almost all tanks from large retail stores are fully tempered to avoid damage/ injury liability, so I wouldn't try to drill it. Not a bad price though if drilling isn't necessary.

Here is what they look like. There are 6 of them stacked there. They are 36"x18"x13.5". They are drilled with a 1.75" hole in the upper corner. They are painted black on the back. That paint is chipping off so it is easy to remove. There is crud on the inside from the last time they had water. That comes off easily.

PS the 20 longs are clean but not drilled.

That's a nice size on the 30L; could make a nice elevated fuge which would gravity feed back into my tank. How much are you asking for them Andy?
