Hippo tang helpin me out???

So i've got this aiptasia way back behind the rocks. I can see it, but can't get to it. I kinda tried to forget about it but i know what a nuisence they can become. So I woke up this morning and took a look at the thing to find two shells directly on top of it. I know the hippo put them there as he moves shells (and small rocks) around quite frequently. I wonder if that is his way of thanking me for feeding him everyday? :lol:

Anyway, on a serious note, will that kill it? It is completely covered by the shells.

When I have an aiptasia the peppermints have outright refused to take out, I set a specimen rock on it, and that does seem to discourage them.

Cool, cuz there really is no way to get to it other then taking apart the rock, which I do not want to do.
