It was in 1981... My very first ship, USS Nassau. I had no idea my picture was even in Time magazine until one of my shipmates told me.

That was the start of my lifting career right there. I think I weighed in at a whopping 150lbs, dripping wet. That was about 75 lbs ago... I don't think I could get one leg into those pants these days! :lol:
