You'll see...

It's the only way you'll ever experience THIS level of cuteness:

In that case I'm happy you're not a father too.

I'm also a proud member of the non-parent club.

We don't mind being called 'dinks'.

Miss Marksreef has a bun in the oven. Does that count or do I have to wait until next year?

You have to wait. It's really a shame if she's due tomorrow. It's sort of like having a kid on Jan 1 and losing daddy's little tax write-off for the year. :D

Got a 13 year old and a 5 year old. Talk about night and day! the 13 year old wishes I was dead and the 5 year old thinks I'm the best. Being a Dad . . . . .

Seriously, children are the only thing worth dedicating 100% of yourself to. We chat about fish tanks and the little artificial oceans that we preside over, manmade reef microcosms, but children, man, that is immortality. It is do it yourself cloning and the amazing thing is, we've been doing it for millions of years.

Clearly, parenthood is not for everyone, but don't knock it until you've tried it. Only thing is, you can't just try it out and, if it doesn't suit you, sell the kids like a used 55 gallon setup! It is at once the most difficult thing and the most fulfilling thing that I have ever done, and I've done a lot! God Bless the children!

After raising 3 kids I'll say it's overrated but a necessary evil if you want grandkids. I have three of those as well and I like them better.

Reading this reminds me when my Dad (87 yrs. old) hugged his great granddaugter and said 'this is what my life has been for'. The saddest and proudest moment of my life:)
