Hey, I have been wanting to set up a reef cam online so i can keep an eye one my reef when on trips vacation exc...

I have seen that alot of people have them on here and i was wondering what are you using to uplink it and encode the signal. And can you link it to any free webpage or do you have to have a special web service.

I use EvoCam and an iSight firewire camera. I've been running a reef cam 24/7 for at least 5 years.

It could be linked to any type of page but you'll either need dynamic dns or a static address.

Hey I downloaded a web service webcamxp but i think either mcafee or windows is blocking it what should i do lol im about .. that close to switching to a mac lol i have never had one but i here they are way more user friendly and you don't have to have 150$ software to keep all the low lifes hackers off you computer lol
