View Full Version : AIM disconnects...

Alright, so my AIM used to constantly disconnect then reconnect on my old computer. However, now I have a brand new computer and am using AIM Triton, and it keeps doing the same thing. I'll even be on the internet when it does and nothing seems wrong then. Any ideas?

Happens to me all the time, I have no idea what the problem is though.

I use the old aim cause triton is bad.

That's not AIM that's disconnecting - that's all the people you're sending IMs to (when they realize it's you). :eek2:

Switched back to an older version of AIM and haven't noticed it, just once though (knock on wood).

The sheer crappyness of AIM Triton was what convinced me to uninstall AIM messenger and convert to Trillian. I've been using it for months and it's more useful, convenient, and reliable in every way imaginable.

Yeah, I got an email about someone replying to a thread I posted in years ago, and through my user control panel I ended up here. Hope you take the advice about the Trillian. ;)

after getting the updated version, it started the disconnecting stuff! but it hasn't been to the point where I get that aggravated with it!
