This picture is from the lanai of my $135/night room I reserved on Priceline. The hotel upgraded me to an ocean-view room (regularly $350 or so per night). It was incredible.

This is the view from my other Priceline-reserved hotel (I was at each of these hotels for 2 nights).

And finally, this is a picture of the resort I stayed at for 5 nights.

This place was absolutely amazing. I love being around all the activity at Waikiki, but this resort (16 miles from downtown Honolulu and totally remote by Hawaii standards) was the nicest place I have ever been to, bar none. The staff catered to your every whim.

Brian, where are the **REAL** scenery pics? I only saw one remotely good pic and it looks like she has nothing left of her original face. Or maybe she just finished yawning, I couldn't tell.

Well, at least she has a nice tan. A bit too hairy for me and the mud is a turn off. She could also use some dental work, but I've seen worse.

I really need to make it to Hawaii someday
Maybe our 5th Anniversary

Not many good scenery pics, you need a zoom lense & a guide ;)

Very nice shots Brian!

Ok, question...in this beach shot, looks sort of like a small bay or cove, there is a line of bouys in the water in a crescent shape. Is that a fish/shark net or just a marker for where the swimming area ends?

That's a good question. It doesn't block off the inlet.

Yeah, I know. The work filter is blocking it. I just thought the reason was funny. I'm looking forward to checking out the pics this evening.

That is a "man made" lagoon at Ko Olina Resort. I didn't ask what the buoys were for. I assume it marked the places you shouldn't swim.
