My boss sprung a surprise on us this week. I found out on Sunday, the rest of the staff on Monday. He sold the practice. Wow. Never saw that coming, at least, not so soon.
Our new boss takes possession on Wednesday (tomorrow) and is coming for a lunch meeting with everyone. I'm still a bit stunned about it all and it's happening so quickly! The new owner owns several clinics, but not in our state so he won't even be on-site. I'm curious (and a bit nervous) to see how this is going to work. I'll be biting my nails all morning...
The former owner (and the one who started the clinic in his basement almost 20 years ago) will stay on as an employee for 3 months, then he's leaving completely.
No real questions, just venting some of my anxiety!
