Anyone have any suggestions on how to find women interested in fresh or saltwater fish or coral in mid michigan?

By NOT hanging out at the LFS like a sicko?

I've had the same girlfriend for over 8 years, broke up recently and have no idea how to date. I've been trying online dating, but hate it that everyone has to pay to reply nearly everywhere.

I'm 25/M/Lansing,MI.

Or how about some suggestions for clubs/organizations I could join in hopes of meeting someone? fish related or not.

Don't ya'll have a brew fest every summer up there near Lansing? That's where I would start. If she drinks like a fish, she probably will like fish :D

Hanging out at the LFS actually isn't a bad idea; you might find a cute girl who works there or something. Definitely seek out the reef clubs in your area as well.

8 Years? That's a reallllllly long time! Are you sure your over it?

You can buy a puppy and go to the park. That always seems to attract young gals.

Can't go wrong with a puppy in the park. Especially an Aussie or Lab puppy....heck, even a GSD pup for that matter. And then once they hear that you "rescued" the little pup from the APL or local shelter........

night classes/reef club sounds like a great idea. I don't think it's wise for me to hit on girls at my LFS. I actually tried dating one and went out as friends once already that still works there. and no, I don't think I'm over it yet. It's been not even a week. I was THAT miserable. I feel so much better now.

When you meet a nice girl, offer to buy her a fish tank. If she takes you up on it, she's a keeper!!!!!! ;)

If your in Michigan head down to the many bars, clubs and casinos down here. Lots of women but don't expect any long term relationships here, one nighters is all they are doing now. ;)

I have only been to a club once in my life, I would never even step foot downtown, too nasty.

Date. Talk about your tank. If she changes the subject, change dates. If she tells you about HER tank, you've got a possibility.
