How do you adjust the flow rate on the Seio 620? I see where it says Hi-Low but the directions are extremely vague as how to adjust it.

On my 1500's it's simply a matter of twisting the outer casing to either close or open up the little intake slots on the sides.

Shooter is correct. You simply rotate the outer casing to either increase or decrease the opening space of the slots. Look at the slot space after you do the twist. the The available range is small, but the rate of flow can change significantly.

If they aren't calcified over you should be able to hold it firmly in hand and give it a twist. I also give mine a 20 min vinegar bath every couple months of so, just to keep them manageble. I've found that helps with the notorious "re-start" issues many of us have experienced when ever there's a power loss to them.

so is the flow rate decreased with the slots closed or increased?

Flow is decreased as there are fewer openings through which it can pull water.
