Cable Modem Question

Hello all , my old PC and cable modem only hade ethernet conections but my new dell and cable modem has USB and ethernet & now it is conected ethernet
Is USB better for conecting the cable modem to the PC ?

I don't think you'll notice much of a difference one way or the other.

Cable most places is only 1m, Ethernet on newer PC's is 100m usually. So cable limits you, not the connection

don't use USB. it will load a driver (dont need any extra crap using the ethernet connection). Plus in the future if you add a router for more computers or wireless, you won't have to even think of using different cables.
