i love my 1" SS .....i have been told by a couple guys that their gears broke after about a year to a year and a half, but i don't know.

mine has only been running for about 3 months, but perfectly....

what pump do you have on your 1" and are you running anything else on your 210 for motion?

GRI 520(1500GPH) cut back with a gate valve to about 1000 gph since the 1" has a max of 1100gph and i don't want to push it its whole life.......i also have:
2-Tunze 6060's
1-Tunze 6100 on single contoller
.....this is a sps/clam only reef

there are other options as that is a $300 pump(i got it on sale)....

....are you looking to run submerged pump or external?
