who uses the python with there water changes

what im asking is how do you keep the hose from getting black inside from the water standing in it? i hang mine in the shower but its stiil not dry enough to roll up & put away, if i use it to put my water back in will that be bad for the water,

Probably just algae in there. I do not worry about it as long as most of the standing water is out when I am done. If you wanted you could flush the python into the sink first to remove any standing water before using it.

To get most of the water out you have to roll one end up while letting the other drain(I use the floor drain in my basement). With out using compressed air or something, you will never get all the moisture out if you use it frequently.
