I've got a dremel tool, but all I have are sanding discs and drilling tips. What kind of disc would be the most usefull cutting through live rock. It's a small piece, no more than an inch thick.
Thank you much,
Jeremy

Had a similar situation awhile ago and just took the LR out and put it in a zip-lock bag with a little tank water in the bag and took a hammer and hit it with one good hit...and...walla!!! it broke completeley in half with little to no rubble leftover.
Good luck

There happens to be a Sun Coral attached to it. Any other time, but the hammer might be over kill at the moment.

Can you post a picture of the rock you can maybe use your dremel to kind of score the rock were you want it cut and then use a hammer and chisel you will have to get a cutting disk for the dremel though? Good luck
A dremel with a tile cutting bit is you best bet. Those stupid discs break if you look at them funny......
Personally I'd use a hammer and chisel.
