Hello Everyone. I have recently aquired a magnificent Condylactis Anemone. My question is, has anyone ever had their Condy eat one of their fish? I mean, not like a silverside, but as an aquarium fish. My clowns have been getting close to the anemone, and I've heard the Condy might eat them. I would like to verify it though. Thanks in advance for your responses. :D

I had a condy eat a Yellow Streak Cleaner Wrasse. It hosted a clown though, so does the one my mom has. I have seen a few picture on RC also that shows condys hosting clowns. My pervious knowledge led me to believe that condys didnt host clowns, but seeing is believing. Any anemone you get has the chance of eating fish.

I had a dwarf lion fish that was eaten by a condy, I saw it happen, I gave the condy away after that. I have seen clarkii clowns hosting in a condy.

I had one eat a scooter blenny last week, the anemone is in a sick tank now. I didn't see it happen but the blenny disappeared one night and I looked all over for it. Nothing else in the tank that could have eaten it that quick. I had been feeding the Conde baby goldfish fish from one of my ponds, guess he wasn't smart enough to know the difference, or color blind one. :D

My clowns won't let any other fish close enough to get eaten. Hopefully they don't get eaten themselves!

Had to rescue the condy (a.k.a. pip-squeak) from the clown.
The condy has 8'' tentacles now, and has been growing nicely.
