Both frogspawns were aquacultured and fraged from very large mother colonies in a 180 gallon. May not look that impressive but the green one was 4 tiny heads that didn't extend at all this past winter.

dang how big is that think?
LOL....it's one of my first and favorite corals....starting with about two heads and now I keep it about the size of a volleyball. It would literally be larger than my 90 if I didn't frag it over the years.

And some sweepers on my branching hammer/torch hybrid. (I call it that because it has round and "hammer" shaped tips. I don't have the DNA to prove it.)

they will somewhat eat phyto, some even eat small pieces of fish or shrimp, however frogspawns are photosynthetic and mainly require good lighting, high levels of trace elements such as calcium, iodine, magnisum, etc. and moderqate flow.

I use cyclopeeze for all my corals.... sometimes the lps will catch a piece of mysis shrimp when I feed the fish.

yeah, but sometimes they can be picky about solid foods.

Here's my wall hammer, and up in the corner you can see my frogspawn frag. The froggy was in another tank and bleached when the heater stuck on, it's recovering nicely but not quite back to full colour.

The torch was a rescue - it had receded down to a single head at the LFS, now it's splitting into three heads, each already starting to divide again. I just moved into this tank, it seemed to love current in its old tank so I've given it a spot under the Remora and it seems happy.

I feed these guys whatever the fish are eating - cyclopeeze, mysis, brine, marine cuisine and even pellets are on the menu :)

Actually, I think it is one of the corals sweeper tentacles, which stings other corals around it to give it room to grow.
