Hey Dwizum - long time no trade bits across a wire!
Keep your hands off my bits!
Got any good summer ale recipies? I'm going to lay down an imperial stout for next winter but I need something to drink in the meantime. I'm sick of beers that totally rely on hitting you in the face with eight billion pounds of hops.

What are you trying to refresh your memory, or just seeing how far you can go?

And most people will not look for it

I just kegged this (http://images.hopdog.com/ESP.pdf) Wednesday night. The several that I had last night were quite refreshing. :)

Interesting! BKG and Fuggles are a classic combo. I like the fact that they're both added later in the boil. Like I alluded to above, I used to think it was cool to be a hop head, but I need a break from searing the taste buds off.
Stop bragging about the ability to keg. You're making me jealous. :D
Ok, now how about an imperial stout recipie? I'm hitting both ends of the spectrum!

All this is making me thirsty can we have beer this early, or is it a violation of the UA?

Sorry dwiz, I've got no stout recipe on my laptop. This weekends task will be an American brown ale.

We're a rowdy bunch, for sure. And occasionally suffer from too much consumption of our own product.

I've done Newcastle clones but never bumped into an American brown I liked at all. Shoot me the recipie if you get a chance, I'm interested in seeing what you're doing.

I must say I have to agree with Jay although his spelling needs some work

Falstaff is easy.
1. Collect horse urine.
2. Carbonate.

When I was a kid Pfeiffer's was 3 cases for $9.99 in returnable bottles. Just enough for a softball weekend. :D

Jay - that sounds like "Lucky Lager" out here. It came in 11oz bottles with a little puzzle under the cap. If you could figure out the puzzle, you'd had too many.
