Thanks everyone. But I must say its easy to stay together for so long, when hey are your best friend, the one that listens no matter how boring you are, sits quietly while you sort out problems, gets things for you, lays beside you, goes out side and sits in the garage with you while your tinkering on your hobby's, licks your hand when you get something on it............... Oh, wait a minute, thats my DOG, OK Let me start over.................................

Dusty

If you can't remember, put it on your calender at work. ;) May not seem like allot to us guys, but her birthday, anniversary, and valentines day will get you seriously in the doghouse if you forget. Remembering dates isn't easy. Hell, I'm glad the caddy has a message show up on the nav screen letting me know its time to change the oil again. ;)

She was standing there when I was typing it Mark. She is used to the abuse.lol

As far as remembering the dates, one year I took her out for her bday, wined her, dined her, bought her a present. Two months later, I ask her,"what would you like to do for your B-Day?" IF she would have replied with an answer to the question, I would have done it all over again and never felt a thing.lol I had forgot we had just done it and was ready to do it again 8 weeks later. Now If I ask her, she knows to reply with what ever she wants to do.

jh2pizza
06/09/2006, 11:32 PM
Of course, I gave her the choice between thin and original or Pan. What more could she ask for???????????No, actually we had a meeting in Louisville for the past cpl of days so our day was spent driving home, having a blow out on 71 north, waiting on AAA, sears at the Hamelton mall, laughing on the phone when he was telling me I'm screwed due to them closing 15 minutes before I can get there for my replacement tire. But we stopped in Cinci at the PF Changs. Ya got to love those Lettuce Wraps.

lol im good on her birthday because ive got a little trick to remember it by. its june 14th so i remember it by 614 the columbus area code. its a good thing because its only 3 days away and she hasnt said a word. btw, why is it that they never mention it and just wait for you to bring it up? its like they are waiting for you to slip up lol.
as for the anniversary im still in the dark. i know its in july but havent the slightest clue as to the exact day. i need to glance around at some of her calenders and see if she's marked it anywhere before that one sneaks up on me and sends me out to the doghouse.

I've got a cheat on the anniversary. Char has a framed wedding invitation in the bathroom, so I can just take a look if I need to. Mine's in July also.

Is it possible that we can care for our reef tanks without reminders, yet we cant remember our loved ones dates in life? This is sad. I also wonder if other clubs have such intriguing discussions in the club forums? lmao

i don't know about you but I need reminders for everything!

sammie

Larry: Don't tell your wife you use that framed invitation as a reminder or she'll take it down...
