I organized a group buy on portable TDS meters a couple months before moving (can't beat $10 each). When we got them we tested a sample of water and it turns out the factory calibrated meters were not very accurate at very low TDS (each meter read slightly different). The club president works in a lab at UT and made several solutions of known TDS in the 5-10 ppm range and at everyone was able to calibrate their TDS meters at the meeting.

Unfortunately, I missed that meeting and I think my meter is off considerably. Does anyone in the area have, or have the ability to make, solutions of known low TDS that I could use to calibrate my meter? I've gotten water from several sources (most being RO, one being RODI) and my meter has read much higher than recommended on all of the sources.

Thanks,
