saved this guy from a trip to a lfs during a 125g tear-down of a coworker. he had owned the fish for approximately 3 years and it is nice and fat. he said that he never had issues with it picking at corals. he said he kept mostly softies and a couple of pieces of lps. i'm going to cross my fingers that he doesn't have a taste for stonies.

this will be bi-color #2 for me. i had one several years ago that lived about a week. :( i have always liked these angels and this one is a beautiful specimen.

NO! i'm not keeping it in the 29g. :p

I had a hard time passing that angel up when I saw him, Ben! He's a fattie and I fell in love with him...but unfortunately until I get my tank up and going, I just don't have room for any fish.

Congrats on your new angel!

I have never had any luck with them, but they are probably my favorite. If he eats like a champ and does well, and then you decide to get rid of him anyway, give me a buzz. :D

yeah bi-colors are among my favorite dwarfs, but they also tend to be rather sensitive. seeing as you got one that was well established i think you'll be fine once its settled into your tank. we need pics! :)

pics are in legoz's new thread, as that is where the fish is living until my 200g is up and running.

apparently something took a bite out of a piece of candy cane he put in the tank yesterday. :(
