Mushrooms look folded back

My mushrooms lately have been looking as if they are folding back. Like the edges of the mushrooms aregoing downwards and the top is going up. Know what I mean?

Why are they doing this?

That sounds like the typical behavior for them.

Do they usually "trumpet" up; the edges point upwards as the center is sunken in? This is usually seen in low light conditions. How long have you had them? Have you moved them lately, added light, or moved something else to provide them with more light? Have you started feeding them?

It doesn't sound like anything is wrong to me, more like something was before and now they are behaving normally.

Oh. They never trumpet up. I have had them for about 8 weeks.I have not added light or taken away light or moved something else.

ARe you sure this is a typical behavior? My aunt bought mushrooms and she was getting .333 watts per gallon. lol

Anyways her mushrooms were so scrunched up and folded back not trumpeting up with the middle sunken in.
