Hey All,

Remember the "Worm Incident" at oregonreef.com? Well, I found a black eunice in my tank while looking at at it a while after lights out, mine is that worm's smaller brother/sister. I have lost a couple colonies of zoanthids, and I'm pretty certain that this is the culprit. It has also decimated my mini brittle star population, and it moves some frags around every once in a while.

I read about how to make a plastic container trap, but i'm not sure if i'm going to have much luck in such a small tank. I also have no idea which rock is home to this thing. Any suggestions on its removal?

Thanks,
Steve

I suppose that the term "wonderful pet" is subjective. If this thing takes out my zoanthids and any other soft polyp for which it develops a taste, or if it kills off various invertibrates, then it doesn't seem to be so wonderful. I'd rather keep it as a sump dweller, or give it to someone who would like to keep it in their tank.
