skimmer question

i have a 65 gallon tank with a asm g1 skimmer. is it normal for the skimmer to go wacky (microbubbles, bubbles and more bubbles and overflowing) after placing several frags using glue and epoxy. i placed about 7 to 8 frags . i did a water change and all parameters are ok. calcium is 480 if it has anything to do with it at all. tank has been set up since september last year. ramiro.

The epoxy can make it go crazy. Just lower the adjustment pipe of the skimmer for a bit.

my euroreef cs-80 is doing the same thing. if you read the directions on the aquastik epoxy it says not to skim for 36 hours. it's been 48 for me and it's still skimmer insanity in my tank.
