good luck.

i called every plastic sign shop in town a few months ago looking for it.

i ended up ordering it and paying the outrageous shipping.

how much do you need? i only need to use a little bit of what i bought.

I'm not even sure I need it at all. Vic is thinking of building a sump/fuge, and I was pretty sure that it wasn't available locally. I wonder if it can be ordered through one of the shops...if not, my Dad has every chemical known to man, so he may have some too. Thanks for the offer, we'll keep it in mind. :)

Hobbytown in downtown Bloom has Pro-Weld, it is just like weldon3 and it works great. You can also use pvc cleaner but it takes a while to set. I have used both as well as weldon, I prefer the proweld. About $4 bottle

Illini Plastic in Champaign had weldon 16, I had to order 40 from California to do my DIY.

rv8ror - the "40" is what i have here. did you end up mixing the entire amount for your project? i only need to mix a tiny bit of it, but there doesn't appear to be a good way to measure how much of each product to mix for a small batch. that's the reason i haven't used it yet. i really don't want to mix up all of it if i don't have to.

I did not mix all of it together, just mix alittle but enought to do the job at hand. I mixed it just by guessing, if you use too much of the activator it will harden quicker. I just used a couple of drops for about tablespoon of the thick portion. I had not had any problem with it hardening either.

I have been to Illini Plastic several times and the 40 was on back order when I needed it, and being impatient I just ordered it. They may have it now.
