Hi all, Its time to prune out some of my Acropora valida colonies.

Heres a picture for anyone unfamiliar with this coral:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/paul-w/acros.jpg

It is the purple tipped colony at the front of the picture. It is an extremely fast growing species. The picture was taken under XM 20Ks (400W). I have laso grown this under VHOs and had frags do quite well under T5s as well. The tips are purple and the body is a deep green.

Frags will be 1.5 inches or larger. They will be shipped in insulated coolers with a small amount of water in the bags or small plastic tube containing the coral. This method seems to work pretty well.

Cost $15 plus actual shipping cost/cost of cooler. In general I think the coolers cost $2-$3.

If interested, please PM me.

Paul.

I do have larger frags (or can take larger frags).

What shipping would you prefer, fedex or USPS next day.

I can also combine frags if anyone is interested in multiple stuff. I have a fair variety of Acros and assorted montipora caps.

Beautiful Colony.

I'm very interested but how do you think it will ship to NYC? Will it make it? Interested to know what else you have as well.

Thanks.

I would have thought next day delivery would be fine.

As for others, I have the green colored acro immediately behind the Valida, orange montipora digitata, purple capricornis, green cap, hydnophora, yellow porites, a grey/green porites, a beautiful blue A loisettae ( i think anyway), blue green acro (unsure of spp).

the blue loisettae is shown below in the center

I have three of thse left if anyone is interested.

I can ship 3 different frags for $70 including shipping or 4 frags for $85 inc, so long as USPS can deliver the next day to your zip code from mine (73162).

In addition to the Valida, i have the mint green coral directly behind it in the first pic. A purple capricornis, acorpora nana, yellow porites, green/cream stag, green abroholsensis, hydnophora.

PM me if you are interested. The first ones to confirm will receive. I will reply to all and let you know where you are on a potential list.

I ship in styrofoam containers, frags are cut in the morning and packaged, goto the USPS between noon and 5.00 and should reach you before 10.30 am next day. (assuming USPS can do express next day).

If you have questions, please feel free to PM me.

Paul.

I agree Wliang. I bought a frag of yellow porties, blue mili and a valida from him. All are very bright and healthy.

A couple of people have asked me what corals/shipping would be for 1, or 2 frags.

For 1, $40 inclusive
for 2, $55 inclusive
for 3, $70 inclusive.

That covers the individual pots I ship in, the styrofoam container, the shipping costs and corals.
