Large portions of Cheato for sale (6 gallon & 2 gallon sizes)

I have large portions of cheato available again.

I had an old thread on this that ran for several months but I figured it would be a good idea to start a new one.

I'm selling 2 different sizes. A $50 box and a $25 box. To make things easy I'll charge a flat shipping rate of $10 for the $50 size and $5 for the $25 size.

The $50 box is 1 salt bucket full of cheato. I ship it in boxes that I get from the LFS. They are insulated and generally around 18 x 18 x 10.

The $25 box is 2 gallons of cheato. This ships in uninsulated priority mail boxes that are 12 x 12 x 8.

I ship the algae priority mail. Generally it takes 2 days to the west coast and midwest and 3 days to the east coast. I've never had any issues with it not getting to anyone in good shape.

I only ship on Mondays to make sure it gets there without sitting around over the weekend.

I should have enough to ship out 4 of the larger boxes or 12 of the smaller boxes because it has been a while since I pruned it back. It is in a 1,100g refugium in a greenhouse that is connected to my 415g display tank.

It is in a 1,100g (actual water volume) tank.

Not a very pretty picture but you can get a decent idea of the size of the tank. It is buried into the ground for insulation it is about 4' deep.

The cheato floats and the stuff on the top isn't very pretty but it grows underneath nice and thick and that is what I sell. I have had specific requests for some of the surface growth though as that seems to have more pods and critters in it.

Yes, it is natural light in the greenhouse. Top off is around 25 gallons per day on the overall system.

Not quite. It is all connected to my 415g reef aquarium. I really like fish but my corals don't like the nutrients that result from a heavy fish load. I needed to add a refugium so I went for it. No sense in doing something halfway. ;)

Trust me, I don't think I've covered my salt and heating bills on this. In the winter it takes about 2,500 watts of submersible heaters to keep the temp at 76 and a 1,500 watt regular heater to keep the shed at 60 degrees.

But it does help a little! ;)
