will my brittle star eat my flame scallop? I was told brittle stars are reef safe but I was also told that starfish will eat scallops... Is my new scallop safe?

Most stars are opportunistic feeders and Brittle stars will eat meaty foods, just keep an eye on the brittle star. Again every animals different I have a blue linkia, orange star and red star in my reef and they are good citizens.
But I have a sand sifting star that will eat any snail, if kept in the tank with him in any length of time!
