View Full Version : Thinking about downsizing

I'm seriously considing downsizing. Just seeing if there is any interest in my tank. It is a (no commercial name) 185ish with dual overflows. Dimensions are 60 x 24 x 30. This is the exact same size as the end of Davids tank. Sell with lights (Orbit 260watt compact, 10 months old), stand, some rock, 100ish pounds of live sand, ASM G4 skimmer (about 5 months old), Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper, Mag 18 return pump, and all the hair algae you care to walk out with. I'm thinking in the neighborhoob of $1000.

Some livestock will need to be sold, also. With or without the tank. 1 large foxface, 1 medium purple tang. These are too big for what I'm thinking of setting up. If Henry gets set-up soon, the Foxface is rightly his, if he wants it. The purple tang I would like to get $50 for. In excellent health and eating everything in sight!

Let me know if there is any interest in this. I prefer locally (within Springfield to Peoria to Kankakee to Danville to Effingham "circle"). I also have lots of plumbing parts to get the buyer set-up. Email at w.wiedman@mchsi.com, or PM me here.

Thanks!

Do you already have the smaller tank?

I believe I'm going to convert my current sump (40 breeder) into my primary tank.

Ben - I love the G4! It only took a matter of hours to break-in and produce some nasty skimmate. Been cranking it out ever since!

I really don't want to part this out. I'm looking for someone to take, at the very least, MOST of what is for sale. Specifically, the tank, stand and lights. I will part out what is left provided those parts are sold 1st. That includes the livestock. I apologize if my post was unclear. Nothing really stuck from those HS writing classes I took decades ago........:D

Thanks!
