I've decided to add sand to my tank after trying the BB route. I decided I like the look of sand and since my tank is mostly non-SPS, I don't need the nutrient free water.

Anyone have a cup or two of LS that they would be willing to ship to me? I will paypal you to cover shipping costs. The USPS priority envelope is great for mailing sand. I believe it costs ~$4.

Respond to this thread or PM me if you are willing and able to help.

Thanks,
Doug

What kind of critters are you looking for in the sand. I could spare some from my fuge but I never see much life in the sand, mostly in the macro. I also have about 125 lbs of mixed sand from sugar to small shells. It is no longer "live" though, it has been rinsed with tapwater and allowed to dry (I took out the dsb and went with ssb)

I could use some pods and such to re-infest some rock.
If I can go whatever day Henry picks for his meeting,
maybe some of you can bring some contributions.
