Any of you computer wizards know how to weed through all the running processes and determine which need to get deleted and which kept? My machine is just getting slower than dirt and spybot and norton just ain't helping.

i use norton 2002 or 2003....less garbage there. the processes are going to break down to windows services running and also going to break down to what's in startup group

gonna bet weatherbug, kodak easyshare, office startup, adobe speed launcher, and if you have kids; aim, yahoo messenger, msn messenger.

as for the fix, msconfig can help with the startup programs....but you're going to get 100 different answers in here becuase everyone's way is better i've found.
