I posted in the other invertebrate thread to get a positive id.
If you guys/gals have any ideas of what this creature is LMK.

obviously a polychaete worm aka bristleworm. not sure about family though as it is not what i specialize in :D

Thanks for the input Henry.
I didn't think it was a bristle worms for a couple of reasons.
First, no spikes along the body of the worm.
Seondly, the coloration of the worm. I've seen bristle worms range from pink/red/blue/purple, but not black.
there are 11,500 species out there. there may be a few variations you haven't seen yet ;) :p
