Refugium advice needed

Ok I want a refugium, but I dont know what I need. I do not belive that I am skilled enough to make my own. I need to talk to someone who knows about refugiums. I would love a ecosystem but dont want to spend the money. I would prefer a hang on tank one since my tank is not drilled. Any advice would be great. I have seen the cpr ones but dont know if they would be big enough. Also the way I have my lights hanging would I have to buy a seperate light for it or would the t-5s be enough. (pics have previously been posted of overal tank).
