I've got a orange monti cap I could probably get a frag off of, I've also got a frag of really nice green birds nest (mounted). I'm sure that i've got others, but can't think of what right now. LMK if your interested.

If your willing to drive a little there is a guy from st louis that always has alot to frag. I think he goes by stlouisguy.

i already have a piece of orange monti cap, but would definately be interested in the green birds nest.

i believe dwight is right up i-55 from bloomington, correct?

i really don't want to drive to st. louis for frags. with the cost of gas i could probably purchase full colonies online and have them shipped for the same price.

:D

Benny, your correct. It takes me right at 40 minutes to get from my house to The Mad Reefer. I know i've got some small frags of pink Birds nest also. Probably could get you some other encrusting SPS's if you are interested. . . Oh and I still have a couple frags of Zoo's as well if interested.

Brad, I will have to see what I can come up with when I get home. I bought 2 frags a while back(couldn't resist, they are too cool), and they have a much better growth rate than I expected. That is why I would let 1 go, but I will look and see if I could get you a small frag off of the 1 i'm keeping

when's a good time for you?

thanks again!

Ben, Really the only 2 places I go are TMR for fish, and Rods Reef (1 hour north) for all my corals, or buy from other reefers. There really isn't anything worth while near me. I'll check with the wife and see when we'll be home, and let you know.

Have you checked out Chicago Reptile House in Orland Park.

I've never been to CRH. Do they have a good selection of corals? I guess i've kinda grown impartial to Rod's, I get all over Chicago and the burbs for work and have stopped at countless LFS, IMO there is nothing else around that compares. Very modest store, excelent selection, unbeatable prices, and a mind bogaling amount of knowledge, but i'm always open to checking out a new LFS.

Oddly enough, just happened to stop in their today, as I've been hunting around while deciding how to dive into a salt tank. He has some really nice stuff, and is friendly and knowledgable. It's not too bad a drive (from my residence in Normal, it is about 110 miles).

Thanks for the frags, the green birds nest looks great. One of the best greens I've seen in person.
